The Weare Athletic Club is a non-profit organization that organizes a Cheerleading program for the winter Basketball season. We do not organize the Weare Middle School cheerleaders.

2007/2008 Basketball/Cheerleading Registration

Registration for the 2007-2008 season is upon us. You can register at Center Woods Elementary School from 6:30-8:00 PM on October 2, October 3, and October 9. You can also print and mail a registration form from this website.

Cheerleading Director

The Weare Athletic Club is currently looking for a Cheerleading Director. Please contact WAC President Brian MacDonald if you are interested in this position.

Basketball Program Overview

1-8 Grade Basketball Cheerleading

The purpose of cheerleading in this division is to strengthen and enhance the skill of the player. Sportsmanship and teamwork will be stressed as well as developing a healthy competitive focus. Basic skills such as tumbling, stunting, and dancing will be taugth as well as cheering. Cheerleading season coincides with Basketball season, and Cheerleaders will participate in the Merrimack Basketball League competition at the end of the season.
