WAC Cheerleading News

The Weare Athletic Club is a non-profit organization that organizes a Cheerleading program for the winter Basketball season. We do not organize the Weare Middle School cheerleaders.

Cheerleading Program Overview

1-8 Grade Basketball Cheerleading

The purpose of cheerleading in this division is to strengthen and enhance the skill of the player. Sportsmanship and teamwork will be stressed as well as developing a healthy competitive focus. Basic cheer techniques will be taught with the incorporation of stunting, dance and tumbling. Cheerleading season coincides with Basketball season, and Cheerleaders will participate in the Merrimack Basketball League competition at the end of the season.
