What does the WAC do?
The Weare Athletic Club is a non-profit organization that organizes a week-long MLS Soccer Camp in the summer, and a Fall Soccer program for children in Grades K-8. We do not organize the Weare Middle School teams. See the About The WAC page for information about the club and how you can help.

What Equipment Do I need?
We will provide a Soccer Jersey/T-Shirt, Balls cones etc. Your child will need: Sneakers or cleats. (Cleats are preferred for 3rd Grade on up).
Shorts (some age groups may be provided with shorts)
Shin Guards are also required for all age groups.
If you don't think your child will need shin guards, ask your child to kick you in the shin as hard as he/she can (like he/she might attempt to kick a soccer ball). Hopefully the feeling you get will convince you.
Is Jewelry Allowed on the Field?
No Jewelry is allowed, period. This is a league insurance rule. Medic Alert "Bracelets" are allowed, but must be securely taped. Recent ear piercings are by far the biggest issue. If you are going to pierce something make sure it is done well before the season begins. No - you can't tape the earrings, No - "safety" earrings are not allowed either.

Indoor Soccer
The Weare Athletic Club does not currently run an indoor soccer program, however there are coaches from Weare that coach indoor teams on their own. Anyone who is interested in playing indoor soccer has the option of trying to join an existing team, signing up on a 'House Team', or starting a team of their own. Indoor soccer facilities in the area include Field House Sports in Bow, and NH Sportsplex (formerly Rising Stars) in Bedford.
