Soccer Referee Clinics

We need referees! Please consider attending a referee licensing clinic this year, and becoming a licensed referee in our program. Our referees are paid for their work, and licensed referees are paid more than unlicensed referees. The WAC will reimburse you for the cost of the course if you referee in our program!

A USSF Grade 9 referee attends an 8-hour review of the Laws of the Game, intended for adults who only want to work recreational games, or youths who want to enter refereeing at a lower level of intensity. Graduates may take a 50 question exam to become licensed by the USSF as a Grade 9 referee. (Grade 9 referees are eligible to referee recreational USSF games up to U14).

A USSF Grade 8 referee attends a 16-hour intensive training in the Laws of the Game. Graduates may take a 100 question exam to become licensed by the USSF as a Grade 8 referee. (Grade 8 referees are eligible to work USSF recreational or travel games up to U19).

Soccer Referee Course Schedule

The soccer referee course schedule is located on the New Hampshire Soccer Association website.
